I’m Callum Barker, a professional wall and floor tiler based in Ilkeston. I work across Derbyshire and the wider East Midlands, helping homeowners get tiling that looks right and lasts. I started out in the trade after being encouraged to learn tiling while working in a DIY store. That led to my apprenticeship, NVQ Level 2 qualification and years of hands on experience across a wide range of projects. I continue to train and keep my skills up to date, including being recognised as an Ultratiler by a leading manufacturer in the tiling industry.
Good tiling is about more than just laying tiles. I take time to prepare surfaces properly, deal with uneven subfloors and use the right materials for each job. This helps avoid problems later and gives you a finish that stays looking good for years.
I’m NVQ Level 2 qualified, hold a CSCS card, and have years of hands on experience across wall and floor tiling. I take pride in doing the job properly, from preparation through to the final finish.
